Middle school families: You’re invited to the FabLab this Tuesday!
Local family advocacy organization, GO West Contra Costa, is partnering with Kennedy High School’s FabLab to host middle school families for an evening of learning and laser cutting on Tuesday, September 27 from 5-7pm.
Students will have the opportunity to create a family crest with their parents that reflects their interests, passions, ambitions, and family values. This session is part of GO’s newest program, College Early and Often, which aims to create supportive and age-appropriate experiences for students and families focused on college and career.
To attend Tuesday’s session, sign up here. Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. As space is limited, only students in grades 6-8 and their parents may attend.
Families with elementary school students in grades 3-5 and high schoolers in grades 9-11 are invited to attend GO’s upcoming College Early and Often sessions on October 11 and October 25, respectively. To sign up, click here.
