Family Leaders Program

Developing Parent Leadership

Building Skills to Impact Systems & Student Outcomes

GO WCC’s Family Leaders Program is a 10-week parent leadership development program that builds advocacy skills among our West Contra Costa family members to create system changes in order to improve student outcomes.

Launched Fall 2016, our Family Leaders Program strives towards a West Contra Costa where all schools are supported by parents and family members empowered to build relationships, work towards solutions, create change, and be true partners in decision making for students success.

Participants deep dive into a set of topics focused on the skills and knowledge needed to create systems changes to improve our students’ outcomes.
